Why light
Studying shouldn't stop at sunset
Without electricity, the school day effectively ends when the sun goes down. A small solar light gives a student a few more hours to read, revise and finish homework.

The team
Founded by students
Flash Forward began in 2024 as a student project in Bellevue. The IRS recognized the foundation as a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2025, and student volunteers still run it.
