How a light gets built
Student volunteers print the case, assemble the parts, and check the light before a partner receives it.
In the workshop
The workshop is student-run. Volunteers print the case, fit the panel, battery, charge board, LEDs, and switch, and check that the light charges and turns on.
The partner, not a Flash Forward volunteer on site, is who knows the students and the households.
After the build
Finished lights go to a partner organization. The partner, not a Flash Forward volunteer on site, is who knows the students and the households.
The longer description, with workshop photographs, is on How a light is built.
