No. Only the 42 lights for Brighten Haiti have shipped. The 30 lights for Loksadhana and Malaika are allocated to those partners and are not described as shipped.
Why do lights go through partners?
Partner organizations already work with schools and communities. They know the students and the households, which Flash Forward volunteers in Bellevue do not.
What does one light cost?
The parts for one light cost $5.17. Student volunteers build the lights without pay. Shipping is separate. By our estimate, a light is used about 6 hours a day. That figure is our own estimate, not a partner measurement.
